Sweet Pink Heart Pillow!!

Check out this sweet little pillow. And it is all mine. The gentleman (Roy) that is in the middle of the two other men is the one that made this gorgeous pillow. My dad is on the left. Of course this picture was taken maybe late 50s? The other one is a good friend of theirs...but aren't they handsome?Check out the Black Label Beer. And the lovely lady in the other picture is Roys daughter Nancy which is my good friend. When we get together we can talk and talk like there is no end...We all grew up together, my parents and her parents were good friends and all of us kids were also...we were all raised on farms. In the afternoons growing up us kids would run into each other...always wind up at a swimming hole. Usually our farm..which had the drainage ditch...yes drainage ditch. About the pillow. I picked up this latchhook kit in my travels for him to work on and make it for Nancy. But he decided to make it for me. Yipee for me!!! Roy started Latchhooking I think back in the 70s and then my dad started doing it also. I have one of my dads pieces he did, so now I have a pillow from Roy.
Thankyou Roy!

Hi Sally, The pillow is beautiful and how special to have from your lifelong friend. What a treasure. The pictures are great.

Thank you for stopping by tonight. Yes, our Miss Beazy is a Golden Retrevier and she will be 5 years old in June. She is our 4th Golden through the years. It was very hard when the others passed away, so I understand how you feel about your precious Hank.

Have a nice weekend and see you again soon.
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Hi Sally, It is so nice to meet you and thank you for dropping by. I took a glance at some of your post and I couldn't help notice your sweet dog. I am so sorry to hear about Hank and I know how great the pain was to put him down. I just glad you gave him your all for the best life ever.

What a nice story about your life I know what you mean about talking with your friend too. My husband can't understand how my friend and I can talk so much. I think it gets on his nerves. The memories are so nice to hold on too... time goes so fast and doesn't wait for no one.

Have a Lovely day and do drop by again when you get a chance.

Take Care-

You know a lot of hairdressers are artist! You should paint more!!I have found out the more you do the better you get. I have done hair about 38 years too. I think I will always do at least 3 days a week hair. That way it keeps me busy when the art is down. So glad you stopped in today. Kathy
